Hello! Welcome to Happy Roots Hair Care! I'm Alysia, the founder and CEO. I've been embracing my natural hair for nearly two decades. For much of that time, I was a “straight hair natural,” getting my hair blown out every couple of weeks, which led to some major heat damage. 

When the pandemic hit in 2020 and salons closed, I had to take matters into my own hands and started caring for my hair myself. I quickly developed a love for my curls. I cut off all of the damaged hair and started fresh! I became a product enthusiast, trying out every wash-and-go product I could find. I started doing tutorials and absorbed as much knowledge about hair care as possible. Fast forward to 2024, and I launched Happy Roots! My goal was to create products that smell wonderful and truly nourish your hair.

My company is entirely owned and funded by me, and I will always prioritize your best interests. I truly hope you love Happy Roots as much as I do!
